I watched this film recently and I like it very much. Although it's Z it has some great ideas which reminded me of "Solaris" and "Sphere". It's a pity that both production design and sfx can't keep up w/ the rest of the movie.
BUT PLEASE! DON'T REMAKE IT!!!!!

I'm actually watching this film right now
and for the very first time on the COMET Channel .
So far this is a good film for it's time
very mysterious and intriguing at the same time too .
Totally agree paling I don't think this film should be remade either
( IMPO it would ruin this film ) .
Yet at the moment this movie does remind me of one TV show
with very similar storylines - " The Outer Limits ( 1963 original ) "
- episode 10 from season 1 called " Nightmare " .

I would rather watch a movie like this than some pretentious "classic" sci-fi like 2001 A Space Odyssey. That was an odyssey to boredom.
