Does anyone know if they still make those hats with the embroidered swordfish patch? I think it is the same one George Burns wore in "Oh God".

shareLong billed fishing caps are still made, but I've never been able to find one like Wayne wore in Hatari. Most now seem to be all cloth, like ball caps... some have the removable sun shade for the neck too. You can see an example here:

Might be worth asking the John Wayne estate if they would market his Hatari cap as a collectable to raise funds for the John Wayne Cancer Foundation... but on second thought, the Wayne estate doesn't own the rights to Hatari so it probably wouldn't fly.
