I'm glad too. There has been happenning something very strange to the Top 250. Not only fan-films like Hot Fuzz, Grindhouse, United 93, Walk the Line, Shaun of the Dead, 300 (obviously), Blood Diamond and Casino Royale are getting in, but also check films from 230 to 250 daily, and true masterpieces are around there entering and being kicked out daily only to enter again.
Thank God All Quiet on the Western Front, Rififfi, Umberto D., Solyaris and Stalker will never leave it. I know that.
Stalker surprised me a lot. I watched it twice and gave it a 10 (11 if it would've been possible) and clibed in less than a month more than 50 places in the Top. AMAZING! Something only giants like Tarkovsky are capable of doing. Seppuku now is on the spot 222, and that's something really impressive, and something to be glad of. I guess my recent 10 had the smallest influence in that.
NEEDS MORE VOTES!, and now that it's on the Top, it will gain more popularity. If Kill Bill Vol. 1 and 2 are above 150, this should be even above The Pianist!
I'm also happy though...
