This is a good movie!

It is worth watching if you get a chance and it is shown fairly regular on tv. Chuck Conners is very good as Geronimo. Kamali Devi as Teely, Ross Martin (later on tv's Wild Wild West) as Mangus and Adam West (later tv's Batman) as Lt. Delahay are also very good. I thought Pat Conway's performance as Capt. Maynard was great. Overall a great movie worth seeing.

FOUND THIS ...

Today, Chuck Connors might not seem politically correct casting as the famous Apache leader, but back in the 1960s this was the kind of role that consolidated the star power of the former professional baseball player. Connors looks good and acquits himself well, and the landscapes - shot by Mexican cinematographer Alex Phillips - are stunning. Unfortunately, the script strays from the whole shameful story and fails to improve upon history, with the defeat of the great warrior reduced to "cowboys and Indians" level. The eclectic casting is interesting, however, including Adam "Batman" West and the ever-reliable Denver Pyle as a corrupt congressman. Underrated film-maker Arnold Laven gets the most out of what's available, but director Walter Hill told the story more effectively with more truth and less glamour in 1993.

Well, is that a fact now?????

If you thought Pat Conway's "performance" was "great", well, to each his own. Personally, if I could have slapped his face every time he smirked at the camera and acted like a gay Bond villain, I would have been much happier (and my hand would have been pretty sore). At least he got blowed up real good at the end. And whoever reported that Denver Pyle played a "corrupt congressman" apparently didn't watch the film, unfortunately like far too many "movie reviewers".

The OP ALWAYS titles these losers with the same words. I only recorded it to see Artemis Gordon do his schtick. Otherwise, there's little here other than imploding bowels.
