Those of you, of a certain age, will remember Henry Mancini's theme for this film was also used for a number of years back in the '70's as the intro for WGN TV's Creature Feature show. The program aired late night on Saturday evenings. This is where we all got introduced to the classic Universal horrors of the '40's and the monster and sci-fi films of the '50's and '60's.

I'm just watching this now for the first time. As soon as I heard those first few notes, I immediately thought of Creature Features. Nice to finally know where that music came from.
