I was in the library the other day and saw it on the shelve. Now I remember it from a very long time ago but only remember bits and pieces of it.
So I watched it last night and found it incredible. Excellent performances by all and a very enjoyable film.

Polished, sharply critical and hilarious from start to finish. This one holds up. 10/10. Creative scoring is side-splitting. Funerals should only be so funny!

This is a fabulous film - hillarious and the ending where his new wife is out to lead on other men, is extra hillarious. I give this move 9/10 and it ranks No. 98 on my all-time list (out of 2000+ movies seen), No. 6 amongst Italian-language films.
shareI am curious, which are the 5 Italian movies you rate higher? GBU, but that' s a completely different genre. I dońt say DAI is the best Italian movie ever, but tí s hard to "beat".
I am NOT asking this to then criticize your taste, I merely want to see if there is any great Italian movie I do not yet know.
For me DAI is 10/10, simply because this is IMHO a faultless movie.
it started off at a very high level for the first hour of so but dwindled at the end, the last shot was indeed brilliant
