Location

I was wondering the same thing. That estate was something else. I have a guess but no way to prove it right or wrong. It obviously was owned by someone with big money. It looked like it may have been located in Beverly Hills. There were a few shots showing a city down in the valley, perhaps the Wishire district of LA, a view not unlike the one seen from some Beverly Hills residences. The movie was copyrighted and distributed by Twentieth Century Fox. Do you think it could have Darryl F Zanuck's estate? He was the studio head of Fox at the time and probably could have afforded a place like that. I think he was over in Europe making the Longest Day when this movie was being made so it would have been vacant. Like I said, it's just a guess.
