Fox Movie Channel will air The Day Mars Invaded Earth on Aug 17th at 11:30 am, Aug 18th at 1:30 am, Oct 8th at 6:01 am, and Oct 10th at 12:31 pm. Happy Watching!

It's a shame only the opening credits and the end titles are still in widescreen when telecast, and the bulk of the movie blown up to fullscreen. It definitely detracts from the split-screen effects of Kent Taylor talking with his doppelganger, and fails to give the impression of vastness of the estate that was originally intended.

The airings in October are marked "letterboxed" on the schedule. W00t!

It's on FMC again Jan 11 2006, in LBX format. I missed it in Oct and am looking forward to the chance to record it.

It's on again today and it was on a few days ago. Fox Movies repeats their old classics a lot and that's a good thing. Even though I have DVD copies of my favorites I wish we could get more viewings on tv of the original versions of classic B&W sci-fi films below. With big screen tv is just nice to tune in and see them on the guide instead of the many versions of the overdone remakes & reboots.
