Cool music!

Cape Fear is one of Bernard Herrman's greatest compositions EVER! It's up there with top-notch Psycho and Taxi Driver. If it's not the film that gives you the creeps, it's the music that will be long remembered. Anyone else agree?

You know I just saw Cape Fear today, and listening to the music I was thinking 'Psycho' at parts. Now it all makes sense with the shrill string instruments and everything that Bernard Herrman did the score to this movie. I thought it was him!

Yes, it's undoubtedly one of his very best. "Cape Fear" simply wouldn't be complete without Herrmann's magic.

There's LOTS of film composers.........and Bernard Herrmann is one of the best......!!

Yes, good music. And there are a couple of short phrases that sound very similar to the first few bars of the theme music to the original Star Trek.
