i wd like to get hold of some tapes/dvd's of episodes of the virginian particlary the two with Pete Duel The Good-hearted Badman and The Price of Love. Also want to know if it's to be shown on British cable/satellite Tv? I know BBC had it but they never showed it so presumably lost the rights???

I would love to see The Virginian on DVD also. It is one of the best westerns I have ever seen. I love it and wish the would put it on dvd.

It is on TG4 in Eire at present Mon to Fri at 1.10 pm in the afternoon. Now showing the 1962 season.

Thanks, can you get that channel on UK Sky?

reply

I think TG4 is just available to Irish viewers. Today's episode was 'The Man Who Wouldn't Die' with Vera Miles, David White (Bewitched) and James Doohan (Star Trek).
Two episodes have been missed in the run so far - 'It Tolls For Thee' and 'The Exiles'. Although scheduled, they were replaced with repeats of 'The Executioners' and 'The Woman From White Wing' respectively. No explanation was given.

You could get it on UK Sky if you use an Irish viewing card. But if Sky finds out they will at least block the channels again.
