what is the story behind john mcintire's character leaving
does anybody know this
shareI always presumed that Mr. McIntyre left at the end of season 8, when they completely revamped the series, and renamed it.
Had nothing to do with him (or any other cast member), simply the producers trying to cash in on the whole "Man With No Name" (i.e. Clint Eastwood in the Leone Westerns) genre.
Did he leave earlier than that?
