Maybe the most annoying villian (Pritican) they ever had on. He wouldn't shutup around Judge Garth. A hour into it I wanted to shoot him myself.

I agree this was the most annoying character I ever saw James Whitmore play, and he played it so perfectly that you wanted to get up and just punch him in the mouth!! Very annoying! James Whitmore is one of my favorite character actors!

I have known people like him. Someone always seems to owe them, something. If it bothered you that much, then Mr. Whitmore played the part exactly as it was intended. The mark of a great actor.
