What was Trampas's first name? Was it ever mentioned?

And for that matter, there is some confusion about whether Trampas WAS his first or last name. While the episode in Season 2 shows his father as Frank Trampas (Sonny Tufts) in flashbacks, an episode in Season 6 (the one with Tim McIntire where Trampas recalls losing much of his family to scarlet fever) shows flashbacks of Trampas as a boy with his mother calling out to him "Trampas! Trampas!", as if that was his FIRST name.

Trampas was his last name. We learned that in the episode where we learn how he came to be at Shiloh (chasing the man who killed his father, Mr. Trampas). His father called him son or boy. I believe the Tim McIntyre episode was a case of writers not bothering to learn any facts previously stated facts (something they did alot of).
