when the young man comes to see the girl's mother after the dance, they are out front of the house talking. There's a windows in the house, and you can see a red flashing light reflected in it from some piece of movie equipment, perhaps a camera boom.

I'll look for that. How about the introduction to every episode you can see the tire tracks from the camera truck when they show the characters riding their horses on the dirt road.
