All tv shows in salt mine!

Impressive footage of the midwest salt mines that hold all of Carson's Tonite show archives that were saved. But what's the use of holding on to them, only to sell DVD's chopped up of snipets of guests? I want to see whole episodes & even the commercials would be cool too!

My parents rarely let me stay up late to watch the shows in the 70s/80s. If they don't hurry up & start releasing these vintage tonite shows, the next generations are going to say; Johnny who?

I saw those tapes on the shelves in the mines on that PBS Carson show a few days ago. Quadruplex video usually looks very good considering the age.

We need direct transfers of those quad masters to bluray, drop-outs and all. I'd buy 'em and I bet many others would too.

Type c 1" video masters of shows probably will not hold up as well as the quad ones did. The tape is thinner on type C.

Yes, great PBS American Masters shown on Mon. I would also buy direct copies from the master tapes/films if Carson Co would put them for sale!
