I just realized watching The Greatest TV Shows, it's been 20 years since Carson left The Tonight Show. Hard to believe, I was watching that final night. I was born in '62 when Carson started, it was unthinkable to me he was leaving, he had been there my whole life. There comes a time you realize nothing is forever.

Yeah,Really Hard To Believe How Time Flies.I Miss Johnny Carson.He Was The Best.When I Was A Kid I'd Look Forward To Johnny Carson,Followed By David Letterman On NBC.Those Were The Nights Of Great Late Night Comedy.

I miss him, too. When he announced his retirement I think he was still on the air for about 18 months after that and it seemed like every episode was Emmy worthy.
