She'd been the "second lead" in a lot of movies. Not "stuck up", but very slick,
she told Johnny that she didn't mind revealing her age, then shaved ten years off of it--she was really 69 at the time, not 59.

I caught that, I actually started laughing.
I'm quite saddened now - I'm watching an episode with that sweet 11-year-old Samantha Smith who had visited Russia at the personal request of Yuri Andropov. She died just a couple of years later in a plane crash while she was co-starring in the series Lime Street.
