Is this the same closing episode music as original episodes

I hope I'm not starting a new thread for something that's been answered multiple times and I've gone through most of the pages and didn't see anything. My apologies.

I thought the closing music the band plays was the Tonight Show theme back when the episodes originally aired but on these rebroadcast episodes on Antenna TV, it's not. Is the closing episode music (theme) the same as it was originally or are they changing it in reruns for legal reasons? Thank you.

I've been wondering the same thing and have been meaning to post the question. I thought I remembered the openening theme played at the end. What they play sounds like it was live, or that there are a few recordings of it.

For some reason, all of the music played by the band has been replaced. I assume there's an issue with paying royalties to the band members. On the official Carson YouTube channel, all of the music by the band is completely cut out.
