Garry Shandling on Friday, 3/25/16 show on Antenna TV
Antenna TV has apparently changed their Tonight Show schedule to broadcast an episode featuring Mr. Shandling's first appearance on the show tomorrow night. Watching these reruns, I've generally found the stand-up comedians to be disappointing, with a
few exceptions. George Carlin was one exception; Shandling was another. When Carlin passed away a few years ago, I remember Shandling offering an emotional tribute in which he talked about how generous Carlin was in sitting down with him and helping him with his act.
It's Garry Shandling's Show was also great, with a terrific theme song.
