The skits

So far I've seen only one skit where Johnny plays a different character and it was Carnac the Magnificent.
I haven't seen this show every night since they brought it back.
Have there been more skits that I missed?
I was always under the impression that he did a lot more skits and didn't know that a lot of the bits were done with him reading jokes from the desk.

I agree, when i think back to when i watched the show in the 1970s and 1980s i seemed to remember that the Mighy Carson art players were on quite a bit, so far i have seen a skit where he did a take-off on Dr Ruth , which was hilarious, Johny sitting in a hole in the couch, with the short fake legs draped over the side that he kept using his hands to cross and uncross. but thats really about it. But i still enjoy the monologue and interviews, so glad that antenna TV decide to air these, to me, right now, its the best thing on TV.

Yeah, I don't mind it the way it is either. He could read from the phone book or even the bible and I'd still find it entertaining.

Would like to see more skits, though.

I would have thought by now that I would have at least seen Art Fern, the matinee guy.

Heck it's February 29th and we still haven't seen one Art Fern sketch yet. They are also very rare on YouTube. I'm wondering if it has to do with the mysterious death of Carol Wayne back in January 1985?

That or copyright issues.

I wonder if we aren't seeing as many skits so that the public will buy them instead on disc.

I actually am surprised that there hasn't been another Carmac since we see that huge image of him in the opening.

Remember a few years ago just the skits were syndicated as a half hour show.
