They let Doc and the Band play. I thought they were going to cut all the music acts.
That band still stands as one of the greatest big bands in history.
I hope they air more of those performances.
Yes, that was a pleasant surprise. Recently they had a "Stump the Band" segment in which audience members actually got to sing their songs, instead of having Johnny talk to them and then cut right to the prizes. I'm hoping this will be a growing trend in upcoming episodes.
