The Epitome of Class

Don Ameche... what an amazing Gentlemen. With a career as long and amazing as his, he was so humble and just exuded such class.

I can't imagine any of today's actors being this cool and this classy. I miss the older generation of Hollywood.

That's all

Mortimer!

Anyway, one could very easily give credit for this career resurgence to John Landis for casting him in Trading Places.

In this episode, the corkboard segment was torture.

Check him out in the very sweet and underrated movie, Things Change.
It's a gem of a movie.

Yes... a wonderful little film. Surprisingly sweet coming from David Mamet.

I like the story about him when he played one of the cold-blooded Duke brothers in
Trading Places and the script called for him to utter an obscenity. He was
very uncomfortable saying the line and would only do it in one take. I wonder what they would have done if he wasn't able to do it in the first take.

I'm not crying, you fool, I'm laughing!
