I waited all week to hear Burt Mustin sing on last night's show, and his musical number was cut! I'm sure the song was so old it wouldn't have been under copyright, yet they edited it out. BOOOOO!!!!

I stopped watching the re-runs regularly a few months back, but during the time I was watching Antenna TV, there were never any musical performances.
Tonight they had very young Barry Manilow singing 2 songs, quite elaborate set & his own band. Last week Olvia-N-John sang a song.
Also, very frustrating commercial came on as David Letterman was in mid-sentence..... very bad editing on Antenna TV's end!?
I'm pretty sure that was how it aired. Dave seemed to be going long with his story and Johnny was trying to wrap him up. And that was followed by a badly dubbed Carson saying "we'll be right back" or something like that that was clearly added in post.
They showed Sinatra do two songs as well. Sometimes I think whether or not they include the music performances all depends on who it is.
