"Well, there will be a lot of them between now and Christmas, although this is a lovely time of year sometimes they get a little satiated with Chritmas specials. Here is partial list :

Note: there were a lot more Christmas special back then, but television is splintered off into a thousand cable channels now, though cable TV existed in 1984, there were still kid shows on the major networks, like Punky and webster. Network TV was a little more soft-edged then it is now. And of course people like Bob Hope were still around, his annual christmas show always drew big ratings. This year -2016, you would be hard pressed to find any christmas shows on the Networks. Are there any people left, out there, who can sell a holiday special?
