Am I insane or did I once see an episode of The Saint where he had to fight giant ants...or something...

Yes, you're not insane, it was called the House on Dragons Rock. There was an evil scientist who was controlling them by remote control. It was quite scary really, in an old fashioned kind of way.

I can't say it wasn't the worst, although I have never thought about which episode would be the worst because I love them all, but I will say it's not the best - there have been many episodes which were definitely better. It was one of the most ridiculous, and therefore you would remember it for its comedy value. If you watch lots of other episodes you will see what I mean.
