Season # 1 + 4
Anyone know why there are only 12 episodes in the first season and 9 episodes in season 4? The other seasons have 20 or more.
shareI guess they started showing the first episodes as a test. When the first 12 episodes were shown, there weren't any filmed episodes left (filming for the series started in June 1962 and already in October the first episode was shown), so they had to stop.
While season 4 was in production they decided to switch to colour (to sell the series to the Americans), so they stoped filming and started season 5 in colour.
