Saint Movie Alert

Just learned a short while ago that TCM is airing 2 Saint movies this Saturday morning, May 10, from 10am to 12:30pm EDT. These are from the old, original theatrical releases of decades ago. The first one is "The Saint in London", the second "The Saint's Double Trouble". The former was made in 1939. Not sure yet when the latter was released. I haven't seen any of the original theatrical Saints. I know different actors played the role of Simon Templar from time to time. TCM's aired several of them before but I decided not to watch since I thought they'd be hard to take, in terms of primitive black and white photography, dated clothing and conversational styles, etc. The main reason I've passed on them is that I can't imagine anyone as the Saint now except for Roger Moore, since he's the ultimate Simon Templar. I am curious about them, however. I may try to check out the 2 I've mentioned. Although potentially dated and antiquated, they may be kind of fun to see anyway!
