Just saw The Saint for the first time in 40 years...episode #2 of first season, wiht Alexander Knox...Moore's accent sounded as if it were from Oz! What gives?

Those early episodes had Roger speaking with his mid atlantic twang. Remember he had been working in Hollywood on Ivanhoe and Maverick and some movies too...
