Didn't Roger Moore Used To Live On The Wirral?

Does anybody know if Roger Moore ever lived on The Wirral?

A friend once remarked that he had a house somewhere near Pensby or Heswall. Is this true? If so, how long did he live there for, and did any you Wirralites ever catch a glimpse of him, or even had the pleasure of actually meeting the great man?

Just curious, as I love on The Wirral too, and am a great fan of Roger's.

He might have. All I know about his background is from a work colleague who said she remembered him as a kid. She said he came from the East End of London, and that his father was a policeman.

Roger Moore lived in Syston or Quenniborough, in Leicestershire, during his knitting pattern modelling days. Hi house was art deco.
