Elroy once said its the 25 century(i don't know how to spell that word i hope its right) so it must take place in between 2900-2999

It's a cartoon, dude. Besides, who's to say the world won't closely resemble that in 2060?
Also, the Jetsons originated in the 1960s, where the year 3000 to us was the year 2000 for them. In the '60s everybody thought that by now we'd have flying cars, living on the moon, and eating entire meals in pill form. Others believed World War III would rear its ugly head by 1999 and the whole planet would get nuked.
But it didn't...at least not physically.
Well a lot of people think futuristic living would be GREAT, but I think it would SUCK! I mean who would want to live in a "sky city"? Sometimes wouldn't you like to just GO OUTSIDE and walk FREE in the open range among the trees and grass, etc I'd feel like I was in PRISON!
And who would want to eat a WHOLE MEAL from a PILL! I for one enjoy sitting down and enoying a MEAL.
The flying cars MIGHT be cool, but it seems like people predict the future in a dreary way IMO, I mean it takes away life's small joys and pleasures.
Pretty soon EVERYTHING will probably go OUT OF EXSISTENCE exept for all-purpose CELL PHONES!
