Will anyone go to see Brad Pitt's film?
I might.
I did and wouldn't recommend it. Created for the video game generation. As the son of a WWII veteran, I'd say this film does a disservice to the vets.

I just saw Fury and thought it was a pretty good film. Lisajohn states that it was created for the video game generation, but I do not understand her reasoning for that statement. She also considers it a disservice to veterans, and again I do not understand her reasoning for same. In no way do I diminish what she says; I simply choose to respectfully disagree with her statements.
While the film captured much of the realism of tanker life and warfare, I must say it is a very raw film throughout. Our tank crew is not presented as a bunch of church acolytes. You hear all the vulgar language and see all of their warts. No, I do not think it is appropriate for young children.
It is not a "fun" film to watch. It is simply a good film to watch.
