You'll have to introduce him to Bazooka bubble gum.
shareHey FlyinFireman,
I am very thankful for YouTube, and I spend a lot of time watching all kinds of different things. I have a very high quality DVD set of Combat! that I purchased a few years ago, and they are much better to see than YouTube. That does not, however, mean you cannot enjoy seeing the shows on YouTube. Actually I waited several years before I finally decided I was willing to pay the bucks to buy my DVD set. Combat! was my all time favorite TV show, and I finally decided to spend the dough for what turned out to be a great DVD set.
Yancy Derringer was a TV show I liked very much back in the 1950s, and you can now see those episodes on YouTube. However, the picture quality of the shows on YouTube is really bad. I suspect it has to do with the shows being recorded rather than filmed at the time. In any case, as much as I liked the show back then, it really does not hold up very well for me any longer. Combat!, however, still holds sway for me after all these years.
Best wishes,
Dave Wile
