the actor that played him wore a hairpiece for that character, he was really as bald as a cue ball.

In other TV shows and movies he appeared in, he was bald. I think he wore a toupee only in this show.

Yeah, I was shocked the 1st time I saw Raymond Bailey bald in another role! He was in quite a few 1950's TV westerns. He DID play an officer in "No Time For Sergeants" starring Andy Griffith and appeared - with hair - and looking very much like Milburn Drysdale.

Yeah, in NTFS he was good in that short role. He was in several high-budget movies like Vertigo, I Want to Live, Sabrina, Al Capone. I remember him on Perry Mason a couple of times too. Nancy Kulp was also on a Perry Mason episode, and as I remember she was in Sabrina.
