Interesting (to me) Tidbits about TBH and the Cast

Momo Yashima, who portrayed the karate-chopping Susie was the sister of the late, great Mako.

Max Baer, Jr. and Donna Douglas dated.

Some of the minor characters were named after show support staff. A couple of these individuals had a one-time small roles.

In addition to the TBH-Green Acres-Petticoat Junction interplay, a handful of actors made guest appearances playing totally different characters (Mike Minor, Charles Lane for example).

Some actors, such as Charles Lane, were on I Love Lucy, apparently having a lifelong relationship with CBS.

Jed's wife must have been really gorgeous considering they produced Elly May. Jed was rather, shall we say, plain-looking.

Roger Torrey died at age 47. Charles Lane died at age 102.

Jeannie Bell later had success in blaxploitation films. She was so sweet!

Jethro and Elly May were second cousins. Their common ancestors being Jed and Pearl's grandparents.

Finally - personal opinion. Elly May looked much hotter in jeans or a kilt than in any of the luxurious gowns she wore. Maybe it was the fact that her hair was down.
