All AHH Fans! How old are you and....

I was born in 1962, so I have only a vague memory of the theme music and Hitchcock's profile silhouette from when I was a child in the 60s. I didn't really begin watching episodes until well into adulthood when I began getting into Hitchcock in general. However, I've been watching the Twilight Zone for much longer, and it was the TZ posters on IMDB who directed me to this site. One reason why I began watching the Hitchcock Hour is that I loved Maggie McNamara on the "Ring-A-Ding Girl" episode of TZ, and I looked her up to see what else she'd been in. At that point I began watching the Hour, waiting for them to air the "Body in the Barn" episode, which I recorded with my VCR. I think it's ridiculous that AH Presents is out on DVD in the US, but the Hour isn't.

I was also born in the 1960's so I have no memory of when it was originally aired. I watched the show in syndication when I was in college. My roommates and I would watch it at 11 at night-- but as I recall, they were the half-hour episodes only.

I think AHP also has a lot of actors who were already big in the movies back then-- like Joan Fontaine and Garry Merrill. Maybe for budget reasons, Twilight Zone could not afford those types.

I was born the year Bobby Moore lifted the Jules Rimet trophy.
I first saw the Alfred Hitchcock Presents, which were shorter; in the 1980s. Then discovered the AHH in the early 2000s.
