Anyone else notice the date the missile was supposed to fired was 29th August, which just happened to be the date Barbara Eden and husband Michael Ansara's late son, Matthew, was born in 1965.

What I truly marvel at is how Michael Ansara so perfectly timed the firing of his "missile" to insure that his son would be born on the same day as the Seaview's launch. I ask you, what are the odds?
C'mon, now. Cast members Joan Fontaine and Charles Tannen shared the same birthday, October 22, albeit two years apart (1917 and 1915, respectively), and both died in the month of December, though on different dates and 33 years apart (December 28, 1980 for Tannen, December 15, 2013 for Fontaine). 9/11 conspiracy loons insist there's a link to Irwin Allen's The Towering Inferno because production on that film wrapped on September 11, 1974. Where does this nonsense end?
You can find things like this all the time, in almost every movie. So what? Nothing the least bit "strange" at all, and this one is pretty stretched.
