Yes, there is no graphic content, although there are a few suggestive scenes and a couple of tense (in danger) type scenes. This movie is more controversial for its subtext and symbolism than it is for any racy content.
You could probably show this movie uncut on TV (it's very tame compared to what's on TV now).

well you can see almost any movie there is and the age is not the question , but the question is will you be able to understand Viridiana or simply are you ready for this movie, I personally think this is Bunuel at his best so just give it a try, why not , I was 15 when I saw it first time and really enjoyed it and I saw it again today in a film school so I think u should see it.
shareI'm 16 and just saw this film and have to say I was a bit shocked. Just because this is a classic film and films were so tame back them, i am always shocked to see one that isn't. Im a christian and wasn't offeneded, but could definatly see why christians would be offended. Also, there is the incestious (SP?) feelings the uncle has towards his niece, and also between Viridiana and her cousin. This didn't bother me, but I read alot of VC Andrews. There are also some implied 'rape' scenes. Very good film and tame for todays standards. I think you would be able to handle the mature theme, but it is in subtitles and in black and white, and alot of teens in my generation will not even go near a classic film and automatically think they're crap. So whatever floats your boat. I would recomend this to all of my friends, but would doubt that any of them would actually see this :)

I think Viridiana is Don Jaime's wife's neice, so she is not blood related to him, so I don't think this counts as incestuous. And although I presonally think it is pretty gross, it's perfectly legal in a lot of places to marry your cousin. So essentially, there is no (illegal) incest implied or otherwise in this film when you think about it.
