I dind´t understand the feet closes in the beging, when the girl is playing and when viridiana and her uncle are talking. Is there any mening in that? Anyone care to explain to me?

I believe that Bunuel was juxtaposing Rita's innocence with the Uncles corruption. We find out later that he liked to watch her jump rope all of the time. The irony being that he ultimately hangs himself with said rope.

Bunuel liked to focus on feet, apparently he had something of a fetish.
