Roger's Song

I've always wondered how Roger escaped being sued by Cruella when his song got air play.

Have fun. Lifes' too friggin' short.

Humm... perhaps Cruella didn't know that the song was published. Maybe it only got air play after she got (we assume) arrested. Remember, when she first appears, Roger only plays the melody, not the lyrics, so Cruella didn't know.

It's a radio hit by the time the dalmatians return by the end of the film. As bts1984 stated, she simply never got to hear the song, personally. She's too focused on getting her fur coat to listen to the radio anyways and she only heard the melody of the song during her first visit to the Dearly household.

What I'm curious about is who the Disney Studio got to perform the radio version of the song that Roger turns off at the end of the film as we never find out, and yet its that version that goes to pay for the Dalmatian Plantation at the conclusion of the film...
