Anita and Cruella

I always wondered how Anita and Cruella could be friends??
Must have gone to school together or Cruella went to live with Anita's family, out in the country, during the war.
Just wonderin'???

Ok, well I think we now need a Cruella and Anita college years origin story. Someone get Lassiter on the phone, we need it now.

In the book it says they were at school together. Cruella was expelled for drinking ink.

Anita struck me as quite timid and cruella is obviously overbearing, I imagine it's one of those situations where being "friends" doesn't mean they had a good friendship. I think cruella probably invited herself into Anita's life just because Anita was timid enough to let her, it wasn't until she met roger that she had him stand up for her and get cruella out of her life.

One of my favorite things about this movie is that the humans, though they aren't the main story, actually have some depth to them! That never happens in kids movies today.

Cruella seemed to be at least in her forties, while Anita seemed to be in her early to mid twenties.
