My favorite 'reveal' ever!

Modern directors of thrillers owe a great deal to William Castle. If nothing else gets you, the "reveal" should. It scared the living daylights out of me and my brother when we watched it on tv back in the 70s. He gave me the dvd for Christmas so I could relieve it again and again! Thanks bro.

I can't explain the terror I felt when I saw it the first time. The music, the lighting, and just the horrifying image of that twisted face, it scared me to pieces.

The first time I saw this movie, I was a young, teen-aged babysitter, all by myself in the living room. When they showed the face for the first time, it scared the bejeebers out of me! When I saw it, several years later, I was able to see the humor in the "scariness" of the whole thing.

Agreed, but how did they get Adam Carolla in this scene?

"Make like that's a nipple"

I first saw this movie as a child, back in the 60's. I was maybe 10-11 years old the first time saw it. Scared the bejeezus out of me. They would show it a couple times a year on "Nightmare Theater" on late night local tv.
