Scared the Crap Out of Me!
The movie itself is not so much scary but a couple of jump scenes make it. I watched this with my brother when we were just teens. When he opened the coffin revealing the creepy dead man's face (and that hideous grin) we both jumped back like frightened kittens! And then that kitchen scene where the wife says "I'll turn on the light" and then...
Mr Sardonicus is easily the most hated man on earth as he tries to adjust to live with a mask (yeah, Michael Myers had nothing on him) on. It's worth a watch at least once a year. William Castle had his gimmicks but he could provide some genuine scares too.
