memorable because it spelled finis
The Misfits is memorable because it was a twilight of the gods film. The King went suddenly soon after the film was completed. MM and Monty helped the process along----two troubled souls. I don't know how long after that Ritter went. Eli Wallach's the only one that managed to keep one step ahead of whatever's gaining on the rest of us. Remins me of that one about the mongol hordes that The Duke got involved in and most of the cast went out with the big C.
