'I've got to find another way to be alive now'

One of my favourite lines in a script so rich in poetry and metaphors. My other favourite line is also spoken by Gable's character Gay Langland: 'They changed it all around and smeared it in blood'. So full of pain and pathos, delivered beautifully by a consummate actor.

rouge silk,
fierce concentrated joy,
fires the blood

Yes, an amazing script.

Gay: You know, sometimes when a person don't know what to do, the best thing is to just stand still.

Another great line and so true as well.
I'm a fountain of blood
In the shape of a girl
