I was just thinking about how 4 of the 5 stars of the film were dead withing 8 years of it's release. You don't see that often. Eli Welch almost made it to 100 though. It seems about as cursed as those Poltergeist films.

A very troubled cast... can't imagine it would have been easy filming... dealing with Marilyn was said to be hard but dealing with Marilyn and Montgomery its a wonder it was even completed :( they really were in terrible psychological shapes... and Clark dying so soon after filming too
shareOh, man. I was going to post the same thing here. Everyone talks about the Poltergeist curse. No one ever mentions this film. Yeah, Clark Gable looked like death in it anyway, but the other three people -- even the older lady-- were relatively healthy.
