This Movie Will Be on ...

I just watched it after not having seen it for many years. I enjoyed it more than I expected, perhaps because I was able to really focus on it today. Fibrofog can interfere a lot at times.

The TV pilot for "The Man Who Fell to Earth" is on now. Lewis Smith was receiving attention after "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai" and "North and South" (miniseries); about that time, he also did "The Heavenly Kid". I saw this and taped it when it debuted on TV, but it's been such a long time that it will be like seeing it fresh. I can make a mental comparison to the theatrical film, which TCM aired recently. No, it's not going to be on the level of the David Bowie film, but it was meant for a TV audience.
