Back when they knew how to make a movie

Seriously, movies have come a long way technically but at the same token they have become mindless utter garbage with no message, no point, and the craft is no longer there.

Then I watched this movie, its simply amazing. you just don't see films like this today.

Realism, Remakes and Unnecessary Sequels are ruining movies!

I agree 100%, and when they do try to make a point it's so heavy handed and cliched that it comes off as propaganda. The art of story telling is dead.:(

so it seems. sure you do have movie's once in a very great while that gave some kind of meaningful impact, but nothing like they used to be. I think its because Hollywood today has no morals, no message, nothing of real use to say. not since the 90's have I seen a film that made me feel deeply in some way. I turn now to older films from 50+ years ago if I want films with some meaning and depth. Hollywood used to be a more conservatively minded place, hard to believe and movies weren't all together crap like they've become. I mean when you live in a culture where those disgusting pieces of trash by morons like tarantino are lauded constantly, then you know something is wrong.
