Criterion Collection

This movie would be a great addition to the Criterion Collection. I don't know what it is about this movie, but it seems to have the overall look, style, and feel of other films in the Criterion Collection. Also, this film has yet to be released on Bu-Ray, and a Criterion release would be the best way of bringing the movie to the high definition format. What does everyone else think?

Couldn't agree more (and yes, I know this is an old post).

Seeing as Kramer's other masterpiece, Mad World, made its way just recently, I hope and pray this will.

I was astonished by all of the performances, ESPECIALLY Clift. It brought me to tears. The pain, the simplicity, the anger and hurt he displays.

When he pulled out the picture... Wow.

I like the idea myself – especially since Maximillian Schell is now gone from us. Ideally, any Criterion release of Judgment At Nuremberg should also include the 1959 Playhouse 90 episode of the same name, in which Schell & Werner Klemperer had played the same roles. Criterion did that on the blu-ray release of 12 Angry Men as well.

For any Criterion Judgment At Nuremberg release that includes the television episode, I hope they’ll be able to find the complete episode and clean it up the way Image Entertainment was able to do with The Time Element on the Season 1 blu-ray release of The Twilight Zone.

A GREAT idea for a Criterion release. Schell was triumphant in his portrayal, although the whole cast was great, even Shatner!!
