I've seen thousands of films from the 1920's untill now, dozens of courtroom drama's, and this one is very weak in almost every aspect....

Well I have probably seen two thousand films and it is very difficult to find a cast that performed that brilliantly.
Maximillian Schell impeccable.
Spencer Tracey, a great example of why he is considered one of the greatest if not greatest actors.
I could go on and on about all the others but you get my drift, I'm sure.
