Great movie, but I was shocked most by TCM cutting into the opening song last night (it starts in black). It flies in the face of what that channel is all about. I wonder if they are afraid of sitting in black video for 30 seconds while that great creepy song sets the tone.💀
shareI noticed that too. I even rewound to verify it. It went from their TCM logo almost immediately into the studio logo. I wonder if it was a mistake in the editing from the lead=in to the film, that someone was going by the video only and not audio? I can only guess since it is so unlike TCM to do that.
shareI thought I heard and see the black screen and singing on the TCM viewing on the 24th. Some of it played during the credits also.
